Dimmers can run warm, but they should not be hot. If they are hot you’ll need a service technician to investigate further.
Some appliances like refrigerators and range microwaves require dedicated circuits. If they are on a circuit that is shared with other outlets, using an appliance like a mixer or a toaster can cause the circuit to overload and trip. Having our electricians add a dedicated circuit can quickly resolve this issue.
Many homeowners aren’t aware that you need to flip your tripped breaker all the way to the ‘off’ position before attempting to turn it back on. Try toggling your breaker fully off then reset. If it is still not resetting, contact us to have a service technician investigate further.
